Pediatric Pulmonary Associates of North Texas, P.A. (PPANT) was established in 1983 to meet the needs of people with lung and respiratory system problems. We primarily serve the Dallas - Plano / North Texas area, but we also see patients from the surrounding Southwestern states.

We provide care to infants, children, adolescents and young adults with:

• Asthma
• Cystic fibrosis
• Recurrent infections including sinusitis, bronchitis and pneumonia
• Acquired and congenital immunodificiencies
• Pulmonary complications of prematurity (BPD)
• Gastroesophageal reflux (GERD)
• Neuromuscular weakness (muscular dystrophy, SMA)
• Neurologic disorders (discoordinated swallowing, aspiration, cerebral palsy)

We provide all patients with written educational material about their illnesses. We focus teaching on:

• Patient/family understanding of disease processes
• Learning the signs and symptoms of illnesses
• The role of medications and various treatment procedures in the management of illnesses

We foster a strong working relationship between the patient and our professional staff in keeping patients healthy. We communicate our approach to care and treatment plan with the patient's primary care and other specialty physicians.
